Tapkey turns phones into super-secure key for all kinds of locks—easily!

Get smart access to doors, cars, boxes, gates, instantly and via NFC and Bluetooth.

LOG IN WITH YOUR ID
Tapkey users are identified by their existing digital ID (e.g. Google-ID). There is no need for signing up a new account or registering a smartphone device. Keys are put on the "virtual keyring" of a users digital ID therefore a user can instantly switch to a new smartphone simply by logging in on the new device.

YOUR PERSONAL KEYRING
You use your secure digital identity to activate any of the unique keys that are sent to, and stored on, your "virtual keyring". In case you lost or forgot your phone, or simply buy a new device, you can immediately use any other phone to unlock, by simply signing in with your digital identity. Completely without any administrative overhead.

UNLOCK DOORS
Once your keyring is activated, you simply tap your smart device against any Tapkey-enabled lock to unlock it. Its as simple as that.

ACCESS MANAGEMENT
Home owners, facility managers or any other permitted lock administrators grant or revoke access directly via the Tapkey app. Additionally they also can check the status of a lock device or view the access log.

VIEW ACCESS LOG
You can view the access log of your managed locks any time directly in your Tapkey mobile app.

ISSUE ACCESS CARDS
Tapkey allows administrators to issue access cards by simply touching them with their NFC-enabled smartphones. No additional hardware is required.

FIRMWARE UPDATE
The firmware of Tapkey-enabled lock devices can be updated remotely via smartphone connectivity. This ensures up-to-date software technology on device side.

SECURITY
Tapkey is super secure. It uses the same kind of protection as banks and credit cards. But it doesn’t require a special SIM card, or a special phone line, or even an Internet connection, once it’s activated. And if your phone is lost or stolen, you can remotely disable Tapkey on it—and instantly re-enable Tapkey on your new phone and get on with your life.
